While seeing a financial picture from the 10,000 foot level is important, the implementation of any recommendations takes place at the 100 foot level where the smallest positive changes can have a big impact on a client’s financial well-being.
Mike has been advising clients since 1985 in the areas of wealth accumulation, retirement planning, education planning, investment management, and tax planning. Mike gravitated toward a financial planning career while in college as his father was a financial advisor. After graduation he joined his father’s firm and that legacy has continued as Mike’s son Scott joined North Star Financial Partners in 2016 to work with Mike in his practice. While Mike’s practice focuses on retirement and investment planning, it is his background in tax preparation and planning that makes his practice unique. His tax preparation expertise provides him with the ability to analyze and put together recommendations for clients that are designed to reduce their tax liability as much as possible....not only today but in the future as well.
Mike and his wife Diane met on a blind date while in high school and have been married since 1985. Mike and Diane enjoy spending time with their families and each month host Family Night Dinner at their house where both sides of their families (plus friends) come together to share a meal and time together.
