Stansfield Fries III

Having been a financial planner since 1993, Stan finds it incredibly rewarding to help clients reach their goals, both financial and personal.

Stan's areas of focus are in asset management, retirement planning and risk management. He works diligently with his clients to assist them in these areas of planning, while also being tax cognizant, and making sure that their retirement needs are met. He recognizes the importance of minding the details and practical implementation of investments. His clientele have included affluent individuals, business owners, medical professionals, large employer organizations and he’s served on several foundation boards.

Stan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business at California State University, Sacramento where he majored in International Business Management.

Stan is a founding partner of North Star Financial Partners and as a Northern California native, Stan has a lifelong appreciation of the region. He enjoys family time with his wife Melanie and their three children at Lake Tahoe.
